Our Story

Grandma Ida was from the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, sitting in the Caribbean, about 7 miles off the coast of Venezuela. When she came to the United States in 1932, she brought the Island’s distinctive creole flavors and style of cooking with her, infusing every meal with the character and flavors of home.

Grandma’s “Peppa Sauce” was legendary for its heat and flavor profile, but you had to be very careful with it. In Trinidad tradition, a little went a long way. More than a drop could set your palate on fire!

Now, more than 90 years after Grandma Ida introduced her sauce to the states, Tee’s Peppa Sauce is a new twist on a legendary recipe. We’ve created a fusion of Thai peppers and traditional Trinidad ingredients to bring just the right heat and that amazing Caribbean flavor to everything it touches.
